Why? You don't need a 90 rating RB for a good run game.

Not sure which direction you talking, they are both in the 90’s. The player I acquired is getting ready to retire, thus the picks. This deal actually took a couple of days to work out. Depending on how someone is building their team team determines which type of players are needed. You are correct a 90 is not always needed, an owner can actually win without having any players in the 90’s.

Was questioning my reasoning and I get it and it's risky on my part! Gotta say I have 3 teams ( not in this league) where I'm trying 3 different strategies! One this one I'm going heavy on win now moves, another I'm all in rebuild doing the opposite of this trading good players for picks and the 3rd I'm being conservative and growing organically not trading or signing anyone big just growing organically and keeping all picks ! Wanna see which strategy works best and which is most enjoyable ! Either way if this doesn't work out assure you all I'm all in on this team and league

This trade also saved me almost 10 million in salary cap space I need to extend a couple of guys I want to keep from free agency that would put me over this years cap otherwise

Desmond, I have been doing these for about a year and a half. People trade with me because I am fair. This was not a bad trade.

In the aggregate my strategy is a risk I traded pretty much 3 years of good picks to build up on offense! But each individual trade I feel was fair value

It seems like you are focused, so it should work for you. Many owners lose due to lack of focus.

I wasn't implying that the trade is unfair, I personally wouldn't give up a pick for a 90's RB. But Desmond did say it was about cap too, so that brings more logic to the trade in my eyes.

Yeah to extend the qb I acquired from you it brought me to right at the cap ! The trade I made with the ravens and Steelers where about as much as clearing cap space as the talent upgrades! I couldn't really make cuts either bc the dead money outweighs the savings
