Moving in a bit of a different direction and needed a decent backup QB. Figured it was worth taking a stab at a decent QB prospect in case something happens to my #1.

Haha... True. I don't just want any backup though. I like having high upside guys and this QB probably should have gone much sooner. It could all blow up in my face of course. Have one or two other positions that I would like to address in some way still.

you are right, he is not much off mine at all, not saynmg a bad choice just thought as a back up others on the board look better, shoulda let me have an extra pick bahahaha

Yeah... I do have other needs and do still really like two players on the board but I am somewhat limited. I liked being able to snag this QB and add a future 2nd even if I do project Cleveland to do fairly decent.

Also... This year is not normal. QB prospects like this usually don't make it out of the top 10-15 picks.
