So how did everyone's draft go?

Surprisingly for Chicago, we were able to benefit from QB Cole Wells (http://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/player/131) falling to us at the fourteenth pick in the first round. Wells is entering into the prime of his career, and with very few satisfying QB prospects in the initial draft, he will hopefully be one of the league leaders at his position for the next decade. Wells will be the central piece to head coach Robert Stamper's pass focused offense, and the rest of the first two days were spent surrounding Wells with the talent to succeed, selecting only one defensive player with our first seven selections.

Chicago's overall goal was to finish the draft with the youngest squad in the league, which it did handily by obtaining only 9 non-rookie players, the oldest of whom being Wells at 26. The hope is that while it may take several years to develop the team into a dominant squad, the presence of Wells will allow the team to remain competitive in the interim while the rest of the offense and defense comes into its own.

Good Draft Ares

I think I did pretty well overall as well and also have a really young team as I have only 5 players at age 3 or higher and 2 of those are Punters (dont know how I drafted 2 but ooops) My weakest area is probably my secondary but strength is at LB.

Offensively I look pretty good at all positions and drafted 4 QB's, converted a FB to HB as his rating was higher at HB then FB, have a decent receiving group and an adequate O-Line.

Lets just see how training camp goes

I think your selection of Guy Mock in the 4th round was my favorite pick of the draft. I was kicking myself for not having noticed his potential at HB.

Thanx. I had my eye on him early and hoped he would make it to 4th round, I got lucky he lasted that long

Take it easy on me, I didn't get my team until after the draft!
