as the title of the thread says Dallas lost their first game in their 2nd game of the season 24-21 to New York Giants.

reporter = knowing that NY Giants beat you by 3 points what do you make of that??
Jensen = well it goes to show why they are a 4 time division champ and why they have made the playoffs yet we have not snuffed the playoffs at all.
reporter = knowing you have been Dallas' coach since 2014 and your team has lost 5 close games in 2019 , 4 close games in 2016 and 5 close games in 2014 that if your team had won those games instead of losing them your team would have been in the playoffs for those 3 years and you lost this game by 3 points do you think this game will hurt your chances of making the playoffs yet again??
Jensen = We could play the should/could/would game which we wouldn't still be any closer to making the playoffs and it wouldn't answer anything really. What we need to do is execute the game plan and do our best to make the playoffs or else we will continue to play the game of we could have made it if we had won the close games we lost this year if we lose any more close games.
reporter = knowing that San Diego Chargers are your next opponent and they are undefeated which they are neck and neck with Denver broncos you happen to trade with this season to get 3 of their players do you think if you beat them that you will be paying back Denver for trading with you??
Jensen = it would be nice to beat them so we could help out our trade partner to the point they could win that division , win that league and that we could win our league and we could play them in the Super Bowl so we could have a Double D super bowl but really nothing is guaranteed we could beat them awhile Denver could lose their game , they could finish last in that league and we could not see the playoffs this year awhile Houston and St. Louis 2 of the worst teams in giving up points could face each other in the super bowl. so I think we should just take it 1 game at a time and see what happens good or bad.
Reporter = considering we have talked about the New York Giants lets talk about Philadelphia Eagles who are 1-1 and Washington Redskins who are 0-2 what do you make of those 2 teams?
Jensen = First I have to say Philadelphia showed me that defense is for real they only lost their game by 3 points where if they had scored a touchdown they would be 2-0 right now and leading the division so that is a team to watch for if there ever was one. Now for Washington they lost by 21 points to us and 14 points to Denver which comes out to 35 points they have lost by so that either goes to show that really they cant beat 2 contenders if you want to call the 2 teams they lost to contenders or they are really ironing out the problems and might turn that season around . I guess really we all will have to watch what happens next.
reporter = one last question out of all 16 games which game really surprised you??
Jensen = out of all 16 games the game that surprised me was the Minnesota Vikings beat down they gave to St. Louis Rams which was 52 - 7 which they beat them by 45 points . heck with that win they lead the national league in points scored and are tied for points given up with New Orleans Saints in the national league so that team must have a very explosive offense and very difficult defense to score on or they might had 2 easy teams to cream which I would guess we will find out as the season goes one which one it is.
