Robert Jensen's Wildcard picks for the wildcard games

as the title of the thread says Robert Jensen of Dallas Cowboys fame will pick the wildcard winners

As it stands now the wildcard games are :

American Conference
New Jersey Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers
Miami Dolphins at Tennessee Titans

National Conference
New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Carolina Panthers at Arizona Cardinals

With that out of the way lets see if they have played each other before or not.

Carolina faced Arizona in the 5th week of the season.
here is that game = http://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/log/2107 and http://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/box/2107
Arizona won 36-33 in OT

Miami faced Tennessee in the 3rd week of the season.
here is that game = http://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/log/2109 and http://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/box/2109
Miami won 51-9

New York faced Tampa Bay in the 14th week of the season.
here is that game = http://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/log/2272 and http://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/box/2272
New York won 23-17

Pittsburgh didn't face New Jersey at all during the season.

Now for the picks

reporter = lets start with Miami against Tennessee who do you think will win that matchup??
Jensen = knowing that Miami won by 42 points I will have to go with them to win that game but I think it will much closer this time something like 28-27 where they only win by 1 point over Tennessee because I really don't see how Miami could beat them by more in their rematch because really it is very hard to beat a team twice. Only way I could see Tennessee pull that upset is they have to have all phases playing offense scoring points , defense keeping Miami out of the end zone and have their specials teams give them good field position.

reporter = now lets go to New York against Tampa Bay who do you think will win that matchup??
Jensen = knowing that NY beat Tampa Bay by only 6 points I don't see that happening again especially when Tampa Bay has the better record than NY and like I said earlier it is hard to beat a team twice during a season. I would say that Tampa Bay will win 3-0 over NY or something along the lines they beat them under 6 points because I really see a defensive struggle brewing in this game . Only way I could see NY winning and winning big over Tampa Bay is if somehow the best players that Tampa Bay has at each position all get injured in their game

reporter = now lets go to Carolina against Arizona who do you think will win that matchup??
Jensen = Knowing that Arizona beat Carolina by 3 points and it took OT to do it I don't see Arizona beating them a second time . I see Carolina winning this game and this game will take a OT also to decide the winner and I think that Arizona's QB will throw the game winning interception that will be returned for a touchdown for Carolina which the score will be 42-35 . Only way I could see Arizona winning this is if the wrong team shows up to play like for example Detroit Lions or Minnesota Vikings show up to play them instead of Carolina.

reporter = now lets go to Pittsburgh against New Jersey who do you think will win that matchup??
Jensen = considering the fact that neither team faced each other I will have to just go with a team I think has the best chance of beating the other instead of using a past game of theirs to select the winner. With that said I would have to go with NJ over Pittsburgh because NJ has scored the 2nd most points in the whole league when both American Conference and National Conference is combined , they have the better record over Pittsburgh and really the lowest scoring out put they had was 27 points in their 5th week and yet they still won.
Only way I could see Pittsburgh winning this game and pulling the upset is they are going to have to play like they did in 4th week scoring 29 points , 6th week scoring 35 points , 8th week scoring 38 points , 12th week scoring 33 points , 13th week scoring 55 points and 16th week scoring 38 points or else if they play like they did any other week outside of those weeks I really don't see they winning it though do have to say NJ scored 2 times more than 55 points which was the most points that Pittsburgh scored during their season so really knowing that NJ scored 62 points in the 3rd week and 73 points in the 13th week it does look like a mismatch to say the least.
Would have to say the game will be NJ 80 points awhile Pittsburgh 21 points because I really don't see Pittsburgh hanging in there with them unless somehow someone kidnaps the WHOLE TEAM of NJ and NJ has to use replacement players to actually field a team and be able to play the game against Pittsburgh.

Reporter = So here is those picks again in case someone missed Robert Jensen's picks
Miami 28-27 Tennessee
Tampa Bay 3 - O New York
Carolina 42 - 35 Arizona
NJ 80 - 21 Pittsburgh

Jensen = good luck to all teams that are playing and hopefully it will be a clean game and no one from either team will get injuried. btw if I am wrong and pick all the wrong teams I will take a mulligan to make sure I pick right and also to pick right for the division playoffs.
