reporter = will say Dallas Cowboys Signed 6 guys (QB , FB , 3 WR's and SLB ) , moved 2 players (LDE to DT and SLB to WLB) and released 2 players (DT and RDE) so could you (Robert Jensen) tell us a little about each one??
Jensen = Sure we signed 4 undrafted players the FB and the 3 WRS awhile we signed 2 veterans at QB and SLB . We weren't done so we moved a LDE to DT and a SLB to WLB then after that we released 2 players in the process too.

reporter = lets talk about more about those 4 undrafted players and what do you have to say about them??
Jensen = well first we knew we needed a another FB because really having one isn't going to help anyone so we signed Thomas Clevenger which he comes from Baylor a Big 12 team and with his 92 speed we like to think we added a weapon at FB to use to help us in the running game and passing game. Then we saw 3 other WRS that had good kick catching which Edward Pitman had a 92 awhile coming from Louisville which is a ACC team , Francis Pendleton who had a 91 awhile coming from Kentucky State which is a Division II team and Matthew Lake who had a 96 awhile coming from Daytona which is a division 1 FCS team which we hope by getting them that they will give us something in special teams and maybe give us a advantage over other teams when we have 4 that have great kick catching which we hope translates to having a superior special teams over other teams but we will find out soon enough about that.

reporter = lets talk about those 2 veterans at QB and SLB and what do you have to say about them??
Jensen = well we needed both for different reasons. We needed to get Robert McMahan so we could have a good enough kick holder with him having a 97 in that department which we hope helps us without a miscue on the holder getting the ball from the center like we did during the past season. Next we decided to get Alfred Oliver to get little more speed at SLB and move a more speed guy of Fernando Singleton to WLB to get more speed there too.

reporter = lets talk about those 2 position moves and what do you have to say about them??
Jensen = basically we needed to get little more speed at DT so we moved Terry Gravely which hopefully he will help us there knowing he is our 5th fastest player there unless somehow we could move a faster player there to where that player would be the fastest or closer to the top than Terry is now. And we moved Fernando Singleton to WLB like I said earlier so we could faster there because our former 2nd WLB was a 60 speedster which is a big drop off from 87 which is still our fastest WLB which is Jon Brown who is still our fastest one there.

reporter = lets talk about those 2 released players and what do you have to say about them??
Jensen = well because of the signed players and moved players we knew we had to get rid of 2 players so we could fit under the 60 players so we picked Aubrey Farrell and Rayford Noyola to release. Now for Aubrey he played 2 years for us and he now will be playing for Chicago because they picked him up which I am sad to see him go and I hope it works out for him. now for rayford he played 2 years in this league 1 for Philadelphia Eagles and 1 for us which now I know that glad we got rid of him knowing he played for both of those teams which now only NY and Washington have to pick up him and he would have played for the whole division. Do have to say neither player is a speedster so it made our decision that much easier when we can move a speedster to take their spot which we hope will benefit our defense especially if that means our players will now FLY to the ball instead of being like 30 yards behind the opposing player and making our offense to have to play that perfect game where every time they get the ball they have to score or else that endless cycle of slower players on defense catches up to us and costs us games because of it.

Reporter = knowing you are now in training camp what do you expect from your team and what do you think of your preseason schedule??
Jensen = hopefully we will get peak performance from our team this training camp where every move we made helps us not hurts us.
That we have Miami Dolphins , Kansas City Chiefs , Oakland Raiders and Tennessee Titans on our schedule we wonder if the league big shots thought we were a AFC or thought we are moving to AFC and give us a schedule like that. Wish we had at least 1 NFC team in there so we could see if our blue print for our team will work or we have to go back to the drawing board. do have to say at least we don't have to face Denver this preseason or heck our season unless somehow we make it to the League championship game where we would only face them if we both made it that far. anyway I just hope we can at least win a game or if not then hope our acquations for our team will work out where our drafted players don't go bust , our signed players do their jobs , our moved players do what we hope they will do and that we find we can move some more players around to make our defense/offense/specials teams that more scarier for the rest of the league teams.
