as the title of the thread says Dallas Cowboys won their first game of the preseason in their 2nd game of the preseason 48-5 over the Kansas City Chiefs .

boxscore = https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/box/view/2351
game log = https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/log/2351

reporter = Coach Robert Jensen some quick questions .
Jensen = yes

reporter = knowing you beat the Kansas City Chiefs by 43 points what do you make of it??
Jensen = totally shocked by that score . I was expecting to get beat especially considering we lost by 27 points to Miami Dolphins in our first preseason game.

reporter = lets talk about the New York Giants who lost to the Indianapolis Colts 28-11 which gives them a 17 point loss what do you make of that??
Jensen = shocked that they lost by that much especially when they won their game last week by 3 points.

reporter = lets talk about the Philadelphia Eagles who lost to the Denver Broncos by the score 27-24 which gives them a 3 point loss what do you make of that??
Jensen = really have to say it again I am totally shocked by this knowing they won by 4 points last week which really seems that from the past 2 weeks really cant figure out the New York Giants , Philadelphia Eagles and us because one week we lose and they win and next week we win and they lose so makes me think this division will be exciting throughout the regular season.

reporter = lets talk about the Washington Redskins who beat Baltimore Ravens 55-3 which gives them a 52 point win what do you have to say about that??
Jensen = Ok can someone really test those Washington Redskins for Steriods . this is their second beat down for the preseason which may cause the other 3 teams in the division Eagles , Giants and us to give up on thinking we can contend with them for the division title unless like they have their best starter at each position goes down for a injury for like 16 weeks or that they have only 1 healthy player at each position so they can only field a 21 team of healthy players.

reporter = there is some talk that really that Dallas Cowboys , New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles have no chance of getting the division title with the preseason that the Redskins have been playing so what do you have to say about that??
Jensen = Well a person can look at it 2 ways which are : 1. That Washington will dominate yet again this division or 2. there has been many paper champions that people expected to dominate in baseball , basketball , American football , etc. because they had signed the best free agents , drafted the best players , signed the best coaches ,etc. yet when they came to play the season they totally SUCKED and sucked big time so until it is 16th week and Washington has the division locked up the division is really for anyone.

Reporter = one last question out of all 16 games which game really surprised you??
Jensen = I would have to go back to the Washington-Baltimore Score which was 55-3 which comes out to a 52 point win by those Washington Redskins . Just by them getting 2 blowout wins this preseason gives them a 98 points scored which is 5 points better than those Denver Broncos who had the score that surprised me last week ( https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/forums/thread/1/422?page=1#787 ) yet what gets me is Redskins have given up only 20 points this preseason yet it ties them with Detroit Lions for the 2nd fewest points given up which they both are behind those Tampa Bay Buccaneers who have given up 19 points so it is hard to say what it means for those teams that they are playing that awesome , that they will dominate their division and be serious contenders this year or that they are just pretenders and they are just playing outside of themselves and sooner or later they will crash back to earth.
