as the title of the thread says Robert Jensen of Dallas Cowboys fame will pick the wildcard winners
As it stands now the wildcard games are :
American Conference
New Jersey Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers
Denver Broncos at Indianapolis Colts
National Conference
Minnesota Vikings at Arizona Cardinals
Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With that out of the way lets see if they have played each other before or not.
Arizona faced Minnesota in the 8th week of the season.
here is that game =

https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/box/view/2511Minnesota won 41-8
Indianapolis Colts faced Denver Broncos in the 1st week of the season.
here is that game =
https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/log/2406 and
https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/box/view/2406Denver won 57-31
Tampa Bay faced Carolina in the 4th week and the 10th week of the season.
here is the 4th week game =
https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/log/2450 and
https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/box/view/2450Carolina won 20-17
here is the 10th week game =
https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/log/2543 and
https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/box/view/2543Tampa Bay won 46-16
Pittsburgh faced New Jersey in the 16th week of the season.
here is that game =
https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/log/2639 and
https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/box/view/2639New Jersey won 31-14
Now for the picks
reporter = lets start with Arizona against Minnesota who do you think will win that matchup??
Jensen = I would have to go with Minnesota Vikings.
they beat the Cardinals 41-8 which comes out to a 33 point winning margin and I just don't see the Cardinals being any closer in this game against the Vikings.
Only way the Cardinals could pull the upset is if the Vikings decided to Tank their playoff game.
Score will be 41-14
reporter = now lets go to Carolina against Tampa Bay who do you think will win that matchup??
Jensen = I would have to go with Tampa Bay.
they beat Carolina by 30 points in their recent game in the 10th week 46-16 and really Carolina was lucky to beat Tampa Bay by 3 points in the 4th week 20-17.
Only way I could see Carolina pulling the upset is if Tampa Bay doesn't come to play .
Score will be 56-7
reporter = now lets go to Denver against Indianapolis who do you think will win that matchup??
Jensen = I would have to go with Denver.
they beat Indianapolis by 26 points in their 1st week 57-31.
And really Denver has the added Motivation to win the whole thing knowingly they lost to New England last season in the conference championship game.
Only way I could see Indianapolis pulling the upset is if Denver is in a funk of not going to the title game and really Denver didn't learn anything by losing last season in the Conference championship game
score will be 70-3
reporter = now lets go to New Jersey against Pittsburgh who do you think will win that matchup??
Jensen = I would have to go with New Jersey Jets.
They beat Pittsburgh by 17 points in their recent matchup in the 16th week 31-14.
also you have to believe there is some payback motivation to New Jersey Jets winning this game because last season they lost to Pittsburgh 26-25 in the same round the wildcard round.
for that score last season =
https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/forums/thread/1/383?page=1#732Only way I could see Pittsburgh beating New Jersey again for the 2nd straight playoff season is that New Jersey got careless in thinking they beat them once and they beat them again or that Pittsburgh would just roll over for them.
Score will be 28-25 decided by a missed field goal by pittsburgh
Denver 70-3 Indianapolis
Minnesota 41 - 14 Arizona
NJ 28 - 25 Pittsburgh
Tampa Bay 56 - 7 Carolina
reporter = knowing you picked last season's wildcard round (
https://mfn8.myfootballnow.com/forums/thread/1/381?page=1#724 ) and you picked 3 of the last season's correct winners (Carolina Panthers , Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers) do you think you will do better this time around with these picks you have given though you could only be 4-0 which would be better than 3-1 last season ??
Jensen = well hopefully I will be much better this playoffs than last seasons' on picking the winners knowingly I was 7-4 on the playoff picks last year.
Jensen = good luck to all teams that are playing and hopefully it will be a clean game and no one from either team will get injuried. btw if I am wrong and pick all the wrong teams I will take a mulligan to make sure I pick right and also to pick right for the division playoffs.
