Ownership - AFC

Out of curiousity I have gone back and listed the # of owners each franchise has had (along with their overall W-L record for all 8 past seasons).

Denver - 1 owner - 110-18 (.859%)
San Diego - 4 owners - 76-52 (.594)
Kansas City - 5 owners - 40-88 (.313%)
Oakland - 2 owners - 29 - (.227%)

New England - 1 owner - 103-25 (.805%)
Miami - 4 owners - 87-41 (.680%)
New Jersey - 4 owners - 73-55 (.570%)
Buffalo - 3 owners - 51-77 (.398%)

Pittsburgh - 1 owner - 73-55 (.570%)
Cleveland - 3 owners - 61-67 (.477%)
Cincinnati - 6 owners - 47-81 (.367%)
Baltimore - 5 owners - 47-81 (.367%)

Indianapolis - 1 owner - 63-65 (.492%)
Jacksonville - 5 owners - 57-71 (.445%)
Houston - 6 owners - 44-84 (.344%)
Tennessee - 5 owners - 42-86 (.328%)

An interesting thing to note are that franchises whose owners have remained from the get-go have the best record (in each division), and in some cases an advantage that many other owners may feel is insurmountable. However the thing that I am most curious about is how the AFC South does not have a single team with a .500 or better record over 8 full years.

I forgot to include changes for the current season

so New Jersey is on owner #5 now - all other AFC teams retained same owner as 2021.

Kansas City is finally starting to win some games, but the AC west is a tough division so the playoffs still feel like they could be a ways off.

You should be able to win both of your games against my squad so that will be a start. ;)

What gets me is in the order of how many owners each team has had

Cincinnati - 6 owners
Houston - 6 owners
Baltimore - 5 owners
Jacksonville - 5 owners
Kansas City - 5 owners
New Jersey - 5 owners
Tennessee - 5 owners
Miami - 4 owners
San Diego - 4 owners
Buffalo - 3 owners
Cleveland - 3 owners
Oakland - 2 owners
Denver - 1 owner
Indianapolis - 1 owner
New England - 1 owner
Pittsburgh - 1 owner

Yet only Oakland from this group has yet to taste the playoffs which you would think Cincinnati and Houston wouldn't have gone to the playoffs yet knowingly they both of had 6 coaches.

also what I noticed is the AFC has the least turnover awhile NFC has the most turnover in that you have 5 teams with 2 owners or fewer for AFC awhile in the NFC only has 3 teams as fewer owners in the same manner.

BTW you forget to put the losses in the 8 years for Oakland which I did it for you in my post

also if you combine all the wins and losses you get for AFC

1003 wins - 1045 losses - (.490)
