Saints star WR Dennis Barfield was apparently hit by a car and dragged 200 ft. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors did everything they could but ended up having to amputate his left leg, leaving him with only 69 speed instead of the 94 he had just minutes ago. Early word out of the Saints front office is they may cut him and take the humongous penalty next year instead of waiting. Only time will tell.
