The team announced today that they will be sitting their starters for the last game of the regular season. Seeing how they have already clinched the number two seed and cannot lose or gain anything from this game, the coaches and GM decided to give their starters the two weeks off to rest and get healed for the playoffs. This means the backups will be getting extended action in the last game of the season, getting them ready to go if needed in the post season. Though they will be short handed they still expect the team to play well and win the game.
KC GM, RMilat45, said, "We just do not want our healthy guys to get hurt in a meaningless game for us, and the guys that are nicked up can use the extra time to heal. They have played a great season, but now we need to start thinking about the playoffs and wining the league championship, as that is our goal every year and this extra week is just what the team doctors were hoping for."
