2 below-average starters and 1 future below-average starter, judging by how he has progressed so far as a rookie (looks like he may sit around 50 when he's hit his cap), for a 1st round pick 3 years in the future. Hm.

He's got a knack for getting players to give him 1st round picks. Good for him. It obviously works since he's near the top in every league.

This one is not too bad I don't think. It is unfortunate that they do not appear to be moving in a positive way with future ratings but these guys should still perform fairly well when they are on the field. Hopefully the floor is not too low or it could get ugly I suppose.

How do you know how they will perform? Is there some key or something? Care to share?

Haha... I do not have any secrets. I just think that they will be alright. Only way to know is to play them.

Additionally, look at Oaklands roster. These three guys are fairly significant upgrades from their current starters. Takes time to build a team up and sometimes it is better to get multiple starters than take a chance on a rookie who could bomb out when building from the ground up. Not an ideal trade probably but may not end up too bad if Oakland can win a few games and/or if the rookie selected with that pick tanks.
