NE/KC had to set some records

1400 total yds between the 2 teams

My QB finished 27/34 for 728 yds and 10 TD

KC QB finished 36/60 for 510yds and 5 TD

Definitely some tired DB's and WR's after this one

Yeah. That's what happens when you play Stealbom's brother's expansion team.

Remember, his entire roster is composed of AI added FAs.

Either that or nobody played Defense

Defense is overrated!

If they kept track of hurries I bet I had over 40 for the game. I was all over his QB but he was still completing pinpoint passes

Yeah I've noticed that as well with my QB. Many plays it looks like he should have been sacked, but he gets the ball out at the last nanosecond, more times than not for a completion.

would they have scored 38 without the 22 point catch up logic?

JDB has said there is NO catch-up logic.

I think this happens because of gameplanning.

For example, you gameplan against team A that in scenarios A, B and C they run the ball 60% of the time. However, when you get up, they are passing 100% of the time, but your defense is still expecting them to run 60%.

At least, that's my opinion on why comebacks seem to happen.

And simple odds sometimes.

A QB may go 5 for 20 in the first half. I wouldn't expect him to go 5 for 20 again in the second half.

Not always, but a lot, teams get behind because they had an unusually bad start, or were unususally unlucky with the dice rolls. 4 fumbled punt returns or something, for example.

Aside from the screwy hurry-up playcalling, I don't really see it any different than when a team pulls away in the 4th when the game was otherwise close.

The thing is I see this happen very often. My pass defense can start out great and I play ahead and typically ahead by a good amount but once the mid 3rd quarter rolls around through the end of the game QBs seem to beef up to a ridiculous completion % and the opposing team becomes impossible while my offense slows down considerably.
