I don't necessarily agree.

2 of those lineman are pretty darn good by my ratings, and young.

For what it's worth, I rejected his initial offer because I felt he was giving up too much in addition to the first round pick. If I was trying to "take him to the cleaners", I would have accepted it.

Not mad at you... just worried that someone (him, not you) who makes these trades will hurt the league in the long run.

By my ratings he got a low 70's player, a mid to low 60's player, and a 50's player.
The 50's player he could pick up something similar in FA
The 60 player is worth a 4th rd DP... maybe a late 3rd round DP
the 70 player is a late 2nd rd DP at best... most likely a third rd DP

The players here are no where near worth a mid first rd pick. You ended up with a fantastic OLB (91) rated by my ratings... 100 spd to boot.. I will give you 3 similar players for him... Deal?

Based on your ratings, I can see how you would think that.

My ratings are very different. When it comes to OL, I am usually only concerned with blocking (pass and/or run depending on which team and position).

Lawler is 90/100 on pass blocking.
Utecht is also 90/100 on pass blocking.
Owens is 53/88 on run blocking, which I value highly in a center.

I'm sure there are many different ways to view this trade depending each owner's player weights.

I am still betting that no player in the deal had an OVR rating higher than 79 with your ratings. We all can find players that have a very good individual stat rating.. but the complete player is not very good.

I guess it all depends on what you're looking for in a player.

Well, Run blocking is vital.. so that is huge.. but with that aside.. His speed is only 7, and his acceleration is only 16. As long as the guy in front of him is just as slow or comes right at him he is ok.. Cant pull worth #$%^.

According to their stats
Lawler has be in the league 2 years and has 0 starts
Utecht has been in the league 4 years and has 3 starts
Owens has been in the league 1 year and has 1 starts..

So you got a STD 91 OLB for 3 of your backups... Pick any 3 of my backups and I will trade them to you for that OLB you drafted... I was salivating waiting for him to drop to me
