Seattle update

Well we've managed to win four straight games and I gotta hand it to our defense. They've been playing some **** good football lately. Didn't think we'd ever be in a position to lead the division, and I shouldn't even talk about it because there's a lot of season left. Just feels good to take a floundering team and see them turn things around early in the season. Ok, good luck to everyone the rest of the way.

Maybe you can come visit Detroit in the playoffs (hopefully I will at least have a home game). :)

Not a hard division lol

The fact I'm 5-4 is miraculous always a long term plan

That's true, and when I took control of this team they were solidly in the cellar of our division.

Although we have also beaten two other division leaders (Miami and Philadelphia), which is comforting. Our defense continues to play well, giving up a league best 13 points/game. I'm not saying we're world beaters, but the team is getting better each season. We could end up 7-9, and yet still have a better record than last season. I like the progress, that's the point.

Good luck the rest of the way!

That's the best part of taking over a bottom feeding team; you have only up to go, and you get to take all the credit for it!

Well we slept through the first half against New Orleans, but a strong second half helped us get the victory and clinch the division title. The defense held NO to 20 yards on the ground. Although we can't be mentioned in the same breath as Denver and Detroit, and as stated earlier, our division may be one of the softer ones, it's a proud moment in our short MFN career. From 2-14 to 6-10 to a winning season. Hoping we can stay healthy for the playoffs.

The injuries will likely be too much to overcome in the playoffs for us this season. Way too many injuries to highly rated players on our roster and we're not deep enough or good enough to make up for that. Good luck to all the playoff teams.

Hey- any given Sunday, right? But seriously, great job on putting together a rapidly ascending team. One or two more seasons putting together some depth and filling out the roster and you'll be toe and toe with anyone. And there's def nothing soft about a div that sports three teams with winning records.

Thanks for the kind words Ares. Depth for sure, especially with all the injuries.
