To all Dallas Cowboys fans we regret to inform you that 3 people retired from the team which are Darren Perez QBS coach , Scott Devires WLB , Warren Duncan SLB.

With that out of the way Robert Jensen will cover each one .

Reporter = so Jensen could you tell us how you feel about him retiring and what are your plans for the future for that position??
Jensen = just glad he actually retired so we can get someone in here who can get our QBS to play up to their strengths and that keeps them relative healthy . also would be a major plus if that coach has a winning record on top of that because having a 39-73-0 record says one thing out aloud that you sucked big time as that coach.

Jensen = well at least for the draft or free agency we will have to get a WLB to either be the starter or the backup at the position . just very glad that we got 2 years out of him after he traded for him at the 2019 draft. totally shocked that he came from Pittsburgh of all teams and that he played 5 seasons there and out of those 5 seasons actually played in the postseason once and here we thought we didn't have any postseason experience from players on our team so really that could hurt us that no one else might have not been there . Unless of course we do have some others on our team with postseason experience which would make that point moot.

Jensen = would have to say that really we will have to do the same thing for this position as like for the WLB that we try get someone in free agency or the draft. do have to say this one might hurt more than the other 2 retires in that Warren Duncan was our starting SLB and have to say he had a heck of a career even if that doesn't mean he makes the hall of fame because he was here for 7 seasons and he started 12 games or more out of those 7 seasons 5 times and out of those 7 seasons he played in 13 games or more all 7 seasons so he was dependable for our team . the real kicker is he is the youngest of all 3 he is 30 awhile Scott Devires is 34 and awhile Darren Perez is 58.
do have to say the major plus for us is that the returning SLB and WLB are faster in speed than our retires at those positions so maybe they can actually do better than these guys but we wont know until the season starts and ends with them either as starters or backups and see what they accomplish in that season.

reporter = I have to ask this question there is some talk that Dallas has 3 coaches they are trying to hire one as head coach , QBS coach and a receivers coach though out of those 3 only 2 QBS coach and receivers coach have a opening so what do you make of that??
Jensen = I am all for trying to get better at each coaching position if that is what Dallas is trying to do. I really don't have control over what happens in that all 3 could be hired , 2 of them could be hired , 1 of them could be hired or none of them hired so I will keep going and doing my daily tasks for this team until I no longer can because I was fired or I retired. heck there is always a chance I could be fired as a head coach here and be hired at another position for this team.

reporter = have to ask do you think not having a playoff experience is the reason Dallas is trying for that head coach that has tasted the playoffs once awhile you haven't tasted it just tasted a winning season for the first time this past season??
Jensen = well I cant question that in that this Dallas team is trying to get a head coach with playoff experience because really I would too in that every team wants to play in the playoffs yet you have like 5 teams that haven't played in the playoffs in all their history so of course I would think those teams would try everything they can to have their first experience in the playoffs.
just disappointed that really dallas has to do that to me in that yes I had 7 season here and only 1 winning season out of that yet maybe next season I can do it because really there is always that notion that sure they get that coach but he doesn't lead them to it awhile I could coach at another team and lead them to the playoffs heck one of the other 4 teams that haven't been in the playoffs and it would look like it blow up in their face.
