I have been collecting some extra stats for our league that aren't available on the site. I thought I would make some of them available, and if there was any interest, try to keep them updated or at least let you guys know when they have been updated.
The first tab shows the Approximate Value for OL and the skill positions on offense for the 2015 season. If you are unfamiliar with Approximate Value, you can learn about it at
http://www.sports-reference.com/blog/approximate-value-methodology/. We don't have a Pro Bowl, so this affects the OL numbers, but overall I think it's a pretty good, general measure of how a player performed during the season. The formula also measures a lot against league averages, so it's self-regulating in a way. I like that about it.
The other 3 tabs are Passing, Rushing, and Receiving for the current season. All three tabs include the Success Rate stat. You can learn about SR at
http://www.advancedfootballanalytics.com/index.php/home/research/general/114-how-coaches-think-run-success-rate. I don't use EPA to figure Success Rate though. I use the old fashioned method. Half the distance to a first down on 1st and 2nd down is considered a success. A 1st down on 3rd down is a success. I don't count any plays with a penalty, unless it was declined.
The Passing tab also has ANY/A and AY/A. These are adjusted passing yards per attempt stats. ANY/A takes in to account sacks and sack yards lost, and AY/A just includes the adjustment for interceptions.
So without further ado, here is the link to the Google sheets.......
