I find it very interesting personally but it must take quite a bit of time to keep updated. Really cool to see some of the stats and values. Would be awesome to see defensive player approximate value as well but I cannot imagine how much more time it would take...

I think what I will do is add the defensive player Success Count. It is a fairly easy add and is a pretty solid indicator of how well a player is performing on defense. It's a simple count of successful actions such as tackles, ints, fumble recoveries, minus things like penalties, missed tackles, allowed receptions...... I think it's best to compare linemen vs linemen, LBs vs LBs, DBs vs DBs though when looking at Success Count.

Updated with Success Count for the Defense. Also added Catch Allowed % and Tackle %.

Let me know what you think guys.......

Looking at the numbers, there is really only 5 teams in this league. That would be, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, Denver and New England.

I hate to say I told you so, but I told you guys that Seattle was for real! Wouldn't have picked them over Chicago, but I still felt it was very possible for them to win against Chicago.

And the game to watch this week, for sure, is Washington @ Tampa Bay!

The only thing that instilled any confidence for me was that we took Chicago to OT in the regular season. I figured being a playoff game we'd get blown out by Chicago. Turns out we saved that honor for Detroit. But still, thanks for the vote of confidence. We exceeded expectations this season. Definitely a step in the right direction.

I wish I could access this file, but I can't pull it through our firewall here at work?

Wow, your work won't let you visit google sheets website? You don't need to download it, just view it on google sheets with your browser.

Yeah it won't let me into the website. I can only use Excel spreadsheets. I'll have to try to remember to pull it up at home.

Took me a while to get around to it, but the final stats are up for the 2016 regular season! This includes the 2016 Approximate Value calculations for the Offense, and the correct Defensive Success Count. (I had marked that page updated for week 16, even though it wasn't, for some odd reason!)

Enjoy, and let me know what you think!
